The Art of Aging Workshop
Dates & Times
22-23 Nov 201910:00am - 4:00pm
As we age, we experience many changes to our bodies, identities, relationships, and legacies. Inspired by Angeles Arrien’s book, The Second Half of Life: Opening the Eight Gates of Wisdom, you're invited to experience how art and symbolism can help us discover meaning.
Cynthia Brown will be offering imagery and poetry as a springboard to your personal exploration. Through art making, reflective writing, and sharing the wisdom of aging, we will explore the themes of:
- Physical changes
- The unknown
- Creative expression
- Nature's renewal
- Letting go
No Art experience needed. Art materials included.
