Drawing, A Meditative Practice.
Ongoing throughout 2026 & 2027
Drawing engages us in deep observation, fostering insights and surprises. Across time, geography, and culture, drawing has connected people to the mystical, the spiritual, and the profound.
There are many ways to learn to draw. These sessions develop a pattern-based approach known as the Zentangle method. It begins with quieting the mind, develops trust in the process, opens us to perception, and concludes with surprise and appreciation.
This course is for anyone who can maintain focus for 45 minutes at a time. It can be adapted for specific demographics upon request. No prior drawing experience is necessary.
We will meet in person on:
Saturday, Nov 14th, Afternoon 1-5 PM
Living Spirit Centre
629 49 Ave SW, Calgary
