In our times the voices of women are shattering the silence: the “I Am Jane Doe” movement in response to the fraternity gang rape at Cornell University; the Gisele Pelicot case in France, the Epstein victims who have revealed the sex crimes of a ruling class of men. Women everywhere are feeling it. We feel the rise of courage in our bones. We feel our own stories moving within us. And we feel the swell of sacred solidarity with each other.
This is an opportunity for us to come together in a circle and reflect on our times, hold spiritual space for each other, and engage in contemplative practices of solidarity with women throughout the world who are stepping forward with courage.
Please bring a picture of yourself as a young woman, and pictures of your mothers and daughters. We will create a sacred altar of these photos in the centre of our circle.
Registration – Please register and be committed to coming if you’d like to attend since we will keep the group size to a maximum of 15 women. We will create a wait list for cancellations and/or future sessions.
